Lac-à-l'Eau-Claire is without a doubt an ideal spot for fishing. Rainbow trout, brook trout and lake trout swim alongside smallmouth bass in Lac-à-l'Eau-Claire; brook trout and rainbow trout swim the waters of the 14 other lakes, which can all be reached by car. All styles of fishing are possible. The 150,000 trout stocked each year make Lac-à-l'Eau-Claire’s outfitters one of the main fishing centres in Québec. You can obtain a fishing licence and rent required equipment (watercraft, fishing lines, motors, etc.) at the Rental Centre. Please note that, in keeping with environmental regulations, you are not permitted to use watercraft and (gas) motors other than our own on the lakes. Individuals visiting for one day who do not have accommodations at Auberge du Lac-à-l’Eau-Claire can only fish in Lac-à-l’Eau-Claire.
