Wintertime is time for fun! Everyone make for the great outdoors to experience the joys of winter!

Auberge du Lac-à-l’Eau-Claire offers a wide range of activities for all ages and all tastes, giving everyone a chance to enjoy some wintertime fun!

On a beautifully sunny Québec winter day, the Auberge du Lac-à-l’Eau-Claire site becomes a vast playground for the entire family or for groups of friends.

Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or you’re experiencing the joys of winter for the first time, you’ll be delighted with the many available opportunities for fun! Go ahead and enjoy!

Try your hand as a musher for a few hours!

On an introductory ride lasting just a few hours or on a day-long trek, you’ll soon become familiar with huskies and how to guide your sled over the snowy trails. With everything you need available directly on site, our seasoned guides will show you a unique time in the forested surroundings! See our dog-sled packages.

Have the time of your life sliding down the slopes!

What joy it is to rediscover your inner child by giving tubing a try! This activity is truly a hoot... for the young and the not-so-young alike! Take advantage of the slope designed especially for tubing. Fun and hilarity are guaranteed! Tubes are available for rent on site at the Rental Centre.

Which do you prefer? Snowshoes or cross-country skis?

Choose your preferred method of getting around and set your own pace on a trek through the forest, where you'll have the pleasure of observing nature and the fauna in a snow-white environment. In the early morning or by the light of the moon, you’ll appreciate the beauty of the conifers. Over 7 kilometres of marked trails can be accessed right from the Inn. Snowshoes and cross-country ski equipment are available at the Rental Centre.

Surprise the trout in their winter hideout!

Come tempt the trout, in a friendly atmosphere, on the ice-covered frozen lake. Our inviting and colourful cabins provide a place for you to warm up and take a little break before venturing out again to check your lines. It’s the perfect opportunity to get familiar with fishing together with family or friends! Our Chef will be pleased to get your trout ready for your evening meal! Tip-ups and fishing licences are available at the Rental Centre.

Perhaps some skating or a game of hockey...?

Whether you have a romantic spirit and want to skate hand-in-hand with your loved one, or you’re looking for an adrenaline rush out on the ice, you’ll find what you’re looking for here! The lighted 900-metre long ice ring is the ideal spot to get acquainted with ice-skating. Fans of team sports, hockey games or broomball can have a friendly game on the skating rink near the Inn.
