Spicy fruits in ice cider
Ingredients:
- 2 Russet apples peeled, cored and cut in eights
- 2 Cortland apples peeled, cored and cut in eights
- 2 pears peeled, cored and cut in half
- 150 gr red plums halved, pitted
- 150 gr yellow plums halved, pitted
- 500 gr ice cider
- 300 gr sugar
- 1 lemon zest
- 2 vanilla beans
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 peppercorn cracked
- Cardamome
Method:
- Pour in a skillet cider, sugar, zest, vanilla beans split in half and spices.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the fruits in skillet and bring it again to boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Let it cool.
- Serve with a sablé.
